With its new American Le Mans Series race program, Acura is soon to arrive on a stage occupied by some of the world's most prestigious auto companies. With three new teams, Acura is starting on the learning curve to the ultimate goal: to race and win at the highest level on one of the greatest stages in endurance racing, the 2007 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

SPEED Channel will present a special one-hour documentary (Acura Project LMP) that will put the viewer behind the scenes with the race teams as they prepare for this historic race, and behind the wheel of the Acura -powered LMP2 race car. This in-depth report will offer insight into the selection of drivers, complemented by behind-the-scenes footage of Honda Performance Development and the development of the Acura engine. The special presentation will follow the accelerated development of the Acura race program over the past four months by following each team through the rigorous testing schedules.
