Honda NS-X 2-3 at the Japanese Touring Car race in Sugo

In the recent JGTC race at Sugo, Wakisaka & Iida won in their Toyota Supra, taking the series point lead, but were followed closely by two Honda NS-X. The second place NS-X of Kato & Mitsusada bumped Mitsusada into 4th in the points. The third place of Ito and Schwaeger of the Mugen team was more significant as they leapt to second in the points.

In GT300 news, Takahashi & Watanabe were able to bring their NS-X home in fourth place, a fine result as the NS-X did not compete in this class last year. The race was won by Yamano & Yanagida in a Nissan Silvia. The winning Honda powered Vemac from the Fuji race had problems finishing 6 laps down from the leader.
