Our friendly automotive spy lensman from the midwest has again captured the following 2019 Pilot subjects testing in the wilds of Ohio. Included below are the comments from Spiedbilde.
Today we got up close with the 2019 Honda Pilot, and got our first look at a mule for the PHEV version.
The refreshed Pilot will adapt styling cues from the recently on-sale Accord and Odyssey. Up front, expect to see a more aggressive lower front fascia, new grille, and a revised set of LED headlights. Around back, look for the taillights to crib the Accord, along with a revised tailgate and lower rear fascia.
The Pilot is expected to add a hybrid or plug-in hybrid option for 2019 that will be shared with the Odyssey. This system will be a version of the two-motor hybrid powertrain currently used in the Accord Hybrid. Base power should still come from the 3.5L V6 DI.
Expect to see the 2019 Honda Pilot later this year. |
