Does anyone find the threads on here very difficult to read b/c we have to open each reply seperately (I can only imagine what kind of unnecessary load that places on the web server... lol)? I wish that when you open a thread, it opens up all the responses under it like other discussion boards on the net. MUCH easier to read/reply that way, in my opinion.

Right underneath the "Go to" box in the forums (somewhere in that next row), there is a thread selection option. It's really hard to see with the grid background. You can choose to have them flat, fancy, or simple. You will want to select flat, which displays all of the messages in the thread. Just be aware that the system stores the messages in a tree format, so if you go in with the flat view, please make sure that if you're responding directly to someone, use the "quote" button. This will help people read it correctly if they are in the fancy or simple modes.

Regarding the load on the server, the threading doesn't add much since all messages are already stored in a tree view. I just run through one for loop when I build the threads no matter if they are flat, fancy or simple. The fancy threads might load slower because of the graphics, but that's on the client end :-)

Dude, thanks for the tip, it worked. Much better now although the font size and colour could be better, but I digress. =P

Thanks again!!
