So where do you think the Passport's sales numbers will end up?

I can't see it matching the Edge numbers. Can it match the Murano?

At least the civic was in good company with such low #'s
Civic 21,890 -29.8%
Corolla 21,105 +9.4%
Elantra 18,148
Recently saw a new elantra in person and was surprised how much better it looks than in pictures.

Interesting that RAV4 is selling so well when it's an outgoing model that is ehhh. Must be some great deals on them right now.

Are they giving the i8 away, who in the world is choosing the i8 over a NSX?

If that is not a typo those are some good numbers for the 911, basically sells as much as the Boxster/Cayman, BRZ, 86 combined, especially good for a outgoing model, too bad Acura doesn't have something under 100K to go after the 911.

Ford is giving up on sedans when the Fusion is in 3rd place with a healthy 16,652 sold this month.

This will be about production as much as it will be about the overall sales potential.

Given the abbreviated trim structure I'm guessing Honda is going to be somewhat limited in their production capacity when it launches. We can also guess as much given what we know about the Alabama plant.

In 2016 the production numbers for Alabama looked like this:

Odyssey: 130,586
Pilot: 140,091
Ridgeline: 34,599
MDX: 64,300

2017 looked like this (remember they phased out the MDX halfway through the year):

Odyssey: 118,888
Pilot: 163,412
Ridgeline: 39,282
MDX: 35,759

We won't have 2018 numbers for a while but I'm guessing the Odyssey and Pilot numbers will be about the same as they were in 2017...and it makes sense that in 2019 the Ridgeline/Passport split will be similar to the Ridgeline/MDX split in 2016.

I don't feel like I'm making too crazy of a prediction by saying that Honda can sell 60,000 (5K a month) Passports a year. I don't know if 100,000+ is possible just given the popularity of the Pilot and CR-V. They'd have to fully expand the trim structure as well - but this vehicle has a lot going for it.
