I wonder how much of a premium they'll charge for the EX-L over the Sport. The absence of an EX is strange.
The Pilot EX costs $2,880 more than the LX. The EX-L costs $6310 more.
Is there a chance that the EX-L Passport is only $2,500 or so more than the Sport?

At least it isn't as bad as the RL trims. You had to get the RTL-T to get Android Auto, which is also the trim bump that adds navigation.

Agreed, bad packaging. For me, a car must have HD radio, but I don't want leather seating.

Yeah, I would much rather cloth heated seats as I have in my CRV but I won't go higher than an EXL. Don't need those options.
If the Sport had Carplay, heated seats and mirrors, I would get that.

IMHO, there is about zero chance of a $2,500 surcharge between a Sport and the EX-L: there's too much added content.
Leather
heated front seats
moonroof
power liftgate
BLIS and cross-traffic alert
Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
power passenger seat
seat & mirror memory
Homelink
That looks like more of a $4-5K bundle to me.

I'll bet the entry trim level in Canada has more standard equipment. Honda US seems to strip down models vs. our northern friends. (Civic Sport and the 9th gen Accord Sport are two examples)

So if we're talking $4-5k over the starting price of comparable vehicles, we're probably talking about something like $34,000 or $35,000 for a Passport EX-L. Basically the price of a Pilot LX. That's pretty steep.

AA/CP need to be standard on all trims.
