okay it doesn't have to be 10AT but it can't be the ZF 9AT. It has to function like the current 10AT

And I want an emphasis on comfort for the 4 passengers on 2 rows. No 3rd row at all. Beefed up SH-AWD so you can vector 70% of the massive torque from the coming Turbo V6 to the rear in ANY gear.

I personally like the interior and exterior styling of this A-Spec quite a bit.

So, get to work Acura!

I can get on board with that. I have no interest in 3rd row seat. I think I like RDX dash more though so I hope to see same theme in MDX and other Acuras

Given the recent trend in crossovers and more recent, performance crossovers, I think well see the 3.0t in the RDX (Type-S), the MDX and MDX Sport Hybrid. However, Im unsure of the transmission as the 10AT cant handle this level of power. Has anyone heard anything else on the 11 speed triple clutch they patented?

I read somewhere Honda is bringing a 2-row Pilot to market as a Passport next year. It would be interesting to me if Honda used that vehicle to do what you are suggesting, as it would no doubt be a bit smaller than the MDX.

Strongly disagree on loosing the 3rd row from a sales perspective. It's still marketed as an SUV after all. If you don't need it, fold it down. Its already a shame that the sport Hybrid can't tow 5 lbs. They might as well drop the "U" out of the "SUV"

If the MDX did not have a 3rd row we would not have bought it. It folds flat out of the way but is always there when you need it, and there has been many a time when it has been such a blessing. 90% of the time we do not use it but when you need the 3rd row oh you need it.

I hope not, that would really screw up the weight distribution and handling balance of the car. To throw a big 3 liter engine into the RDX would be a mistake.
The RDX Type S should really be whatever tune and PSI they're running on the CTR.
