The behavior and appearance of the salesperson should be impeccable especially at a luxury brand dealership like Acura. A knowledgeable salesperson who is truly excited about their product and does not spout a lot of BS is key.

Finally, the salesperson should have the ability to set the right expectations to the customer. If a salesperson promises a certain item, they should be able to deliver it or at least set the right expectations. No games should be played. Avoiding disappointment in a customer and gaining trust should be a priority.

I would also like to point out that the Sterling McCall Acura's management also deserves some credit as they seem to have created an environment which enables them to hire and retain the best employees. All too often, some dealership management is so concerned with the bottom line that they create a difficult environment for salespeople who then pass on their frustrations to you.
