It took me forever to get the clip off the passenger's side headlight bulb, but once I got it off, and replaced the bulb, I can't get the clip to stay on. What am I doing wrong? Is there a better diagram that will show exactly where it attaches?

The job is a knuckle busting bitch due to the tight confines.
Remove the windshield washer tank filler tube bolt and push that out of the way. Borrow a hand mirror or dental mirror and use a flashlight in order to look at the back of the headlamp assembly. Unless you have very petite hands (in which case you may not have to borrow the mirror), once you reach in you will not able to see what is down there. You'll have to feel your way to removing the wiring attachment, pulling off the rubber seal, and then unfastening the spring clip which holds the lamp base against the headlamp housing.
It's a nuisance - but when you find that the sum total of your complaints about a car are that it is hard to replace a lamp bulb, you realize that they did a respectable job of design and assembly.
I do find that my driver's side bulb has failed frequently (4x in 60k miles) while the right side has been replaced once. Curious, but again, avery minor.

For the next bulb replacement consider this: ask the parts folks at Honda the question "If I buy the bulb, will you include installation?"
Carmichael Honda said yes (and they did). Bulb was a whopping $10.
best, ez
