I wrote this article a while back but I am the owner of a 2006 Acura TL that I never drive all that much. This was a nascent concept for me at the time so apologies if there are any errors.

As always guys and gals, feel free to comment a viciously as you'd like. Or maybe if you mean it you can be nice. Actually as an auto journalist it is just nice to hear the feedback.

Nice article. I think most of here would love to see the 3rd gen TL revived.

Regarding your facts, the TL had a 3.2L engine throughout its cycle producing 258 hp. The 286 hp 3.5L engine didn't debut until 2007 with the addition of the Type-S.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't all models of the TL have Bluetooth and the 8 speaker surround sound. Not just the navi models. The article seems to indicate those standard features were part of the navi option package.

Minor point but when the TL-S was introduced, with its firmer suspension package, the other non TL-S models got softened up a bit. I think. Now if someone would just trade in one of these cheap I'd be all over it. One did a while back but another salesperson out bid me for it!

And isnt it strange how black is THE definitive color for this car. IMHO. This is one of those few designs that looks just right from every angle.

All TLs had ELS.

The 04 and 05's were unique. IMHO the best compromise for the AT cars. All you need to do is swap the tires to something more aggresive (ieL no EL42s).

Our was dark metallic grey which, IMHO, is the best color for luxury cars. It makes the black color look like a toy -not a serious car.
