While Honda has reported 26.1% increased sales in September 2010, Nissan NA reported a 34% increase for the same period, Mazda 31%, while Toyota weighs in at 16.8%, due to strong Camry sales. It’s a wonder that anyone will ever by a Toyota that has problematic hardware and software issues related to run-away acceleration in its pedaling system. The trust factor is still a issue for Toyota, but the clear benefactors from this fallout are the three major Japanese brands AND Ford, who saw a September 2010 sales increase at, get this, 46%! Ford should be the one gonging the tocsin this month!
