Not much, other than the fact that September is a slow selling month when compared with August.
It has always been.
This month is said to have been one of the best of the year (if not the best) in annualized terms (which take into account the fact that not all months sell equal). If you have time, you could check the percentage fall between September and August on the past decade and try to see if this looks good or bad in those terms.
You could also check that these are 2008 levels, which is a decent performance, yet of course very far from the pre 2008 good old days.

From 7 years of selling, you always try to have a big July and August as September and October are far leaner, just seems to be the buying public's pattern. I sold 4 less in September than August and EVERYONE is demanding an end of the year deal, so commissions weren't great. Hello McDonald's value menu!

As sales of August 2009 and Sept. were impacted by clunkers subsidy, y/y sales comparison becomes difficult for both Aug. and Sept. 2010.
Any bits of info. surely help.

Canadian sales generally were up - Honda sold more cars in sept than August, fueled by an over 300% increase in CRV sales over sept last year. I had my best month ever. The CRV bonanza is over though as all 2010s are sold out. I sold 11 CRVs (but could only deliver 8!).

The only two vehicles that were up in sales in September compared to August were the CRZ (probably due to increased availability) the RL, and the RDX.
