1,382 for the month and 10,924 year to date...anyone know if this is on par with Honda's quota? Seems low.

It's always sold below their initial expectations. But it seems to be on the uptick this year, I'm not sure why, but it's not a bad vehicle, it's just sort of stuck in a sales-limited niche.

Overall its a good vehicle choice but I can't believe its sales are up after the MMC messed up the front end. It looks weird now.
I think if they had gone with the 3.0V6 instead of the 2.4T sales would have been better but we'll never know.

Besides getting the standard beak, the MMC introduced FWD RDX. I don't know how many sales FWDs made. But the beauty of RDX is mainly its SHAWD. Not sure why anybody would buy a FWD.

It is MUCH cheaper and it offers slightly better FE (+2 mpg IIRC). In North America, that is enough to get more people to look into the car, but then I wonder what the percentage breakdown of models are...

It's not really on target since the more expensive Audi Q5 has a much larger uptick and sales are also behind other competitors. That said it's a 4 year old model so I wonder if Acura will release a redesign end of next year.

The MMC is a significant improvement over the 07 to 09 RDXs. It is quieter on the highway, has an IPOD integration (USB), auto on headlights, passenger power seat (although I think that started in 2009), the turbo noise has been reduced via changes to internal components, the front and rear fascia and light were redesigned for the better and the suspension has been slightly recalibrated to give a better ride quality. Also, the leather has been upgraded and is a little softer now. Even the tailpipes look a lot better than before.
I actually like the front end on this vehicle better than it was. It has an upscale look to it couple with its new wheels. The 07 to 09 ones looked a little plain and the front grill did not have a consistency with other Acura vehicles. I am not a fan of the grill on the TL at all (even the ZDX is a little overstated). I do like the change to the grill that both the RDX and MDX incorporate . . . Just hurry up and reduce the TL & ZDX grills - make them more like the RL's grill which looks good as well.
If you haven't driven the 2010 RDX yet, you might be a bit surprised now. I know I was which is why I decided to buy one. While I imagined the RDX might have been better with a V-6 engine, the turbo 4 is a lot fun and probably contributes to its great handling via the engine weight reduction without forgoing the torque of a V-6.

I for one doubt we'll see a new model for a while. Honda tends to keep slow selling models much longer than successes.
