Hey all,
Been a long term Honda/Acura owner, from Civics to TSX's. Well our family dynamics changed, with our new son's impending arrival.
So with 2 kids & the plethora of gear that comes with that we had to go car shopping, we needed 3 rows, as other with children can attest, with 2 car seats in place there is no room for additional children, friends, adults etc. We looked at all the various arrays of Cars/Wagons & SUV's (NO Minivans!!) and all paths kept leading back to the MDX. Truthfully we were honestly comparing all others to the MDX, using it as the benchmark. Even the offerings from Audi/Merc & BMW didn't come close, or did so at a cost, usually $10-20k more!
So we now own a 2010 Grigio Gray/Taupe MDX w/ Tech package and 100% totally & completely love it! Amazing Vehicle, got it for few hundred over invoice, great buying experience at Prime Acura.
Cheers!

I can relate. 1980 Accord Hatchback to 1995 Civic Coupe to 2006 TSX to 2010 MDX! We considered the euros, but only really looked at the Pilot Touring and the MDX. Cannot beat the price point vs. options.
The MDX is my wife's vehicle (previously drove a 2000 Accord) and I still drive the TSX.
Congratulations! Enjoy it, we love ours.

Congrats. Some may argue, but the MDX and Odyssey are Honda's 2 best offerings.

Did you get the Michelin's or the Bridgestone's with your MDX?

Congrats on your purchase and you have a good looking MDX. I have to admit, I did not like the MMC after looking at the company photos. But seeing them around Austin, the MDX does look good and better than pre MMC depending on color.

I am sure it has to do with cost's they've been doing it that way for quite a while. Hope that you never need it though!!

Been nearly a week now, and completely loving this vehicle.
Amazingly haven't had to put gas in it yet! LOL. I work from home, and the wife works 1 1/2 miles away, so our commutes are forgiving! One of the reasons why i was very comfortable going to an SUV or low MPG vehicle.
I think i found the one flaw in the Honda/Aura link nav system!
Once you have a destination locked in, say a restaurant, you can not access the initial destination details, if lets say you wanted to get back to the screen to then call the restaurant to make a booking or tell them you'll be late! Small detail i know, but honestly a practical one i think. Again our local Acura dealer said he would gladly pass that information over to his corp Acura rep.
cheers

Good Catch! I suppose you could cancel the route, then go to previous destinations to bring it back to call, then have it re-guide you there. It would work a lot faster than it sounds.
