How come I've been able to vote multiple times. Same PC same locations....
Its not good for the poll's credibility.

This poll probably goes by the IP address. Maybe somehow your connection was disconnected and renewed the IP address.

No I've noticed the same problem when I went back to check the status of teh poll results. My pc has a static IP address that never changes.

I checked the tally incrementation. Although it will allow me to vote multiple times, I do not see the tally incrementing. Perhaps only the initial vote is counted from the log in or IP address.

Yes, this poll is defective because it only allows me to vote that I wouldn't buy the TL strictly based on the grille. The other "negative" vote says that I would still buy it based on other features even though I don't like the grille.
The truth, for me, is I don't like the grille or think the car is uniquely positioned in either styling or features to set it apart from the competition. In other words, even if the grille was something I liked, I would still shop around.

You're missing the point of the poll...
It's about the grill... even though plenty have commented on the back end.
It's not about how the car is positioned against the competition. If you think the german cars are well positioned against the TL (let me see. $40K for a fully loaded SH-AWD car..) then go on and spend the money.

My question is why would one try to vote more than once?

I think the OP was more interesting in validating the results of the poll by determining the poll itself could not be tampered.
Tell me you cannot imagine someone skewing the poll results for one's own agenda?
Internet Forum Trolls are unheard of by you?

You don't even need a troll, it's enough to be willing to be "right" and make a point (either negative or positive).
Also, some people may even forget if they've already voted or not after a while.
I've talked with Jeff about this sometimes, and I really feel one should be logged in to vote in the polls (one vote per user); but then we would have way fewer demo...
Still, the way Jeff wrote this one, it doesn't seem it was such a bad deal for Acura. After all, 70% of people doesn't really care too much about the grill. Of course, one could also think that losing 30% of people just because of a grill design is too high though.
In any case it would be so much better if TOV had real profiles with real basic info (gender, age, country) so that real stats could be provided out of polls...

It allows you to vote multiple times, but only one vote is registered (your first). I tested this with multiple browsers, so it is not cookie-based. I also voted while logged off and logged in. Poll security must be based on IP address.

I don't think I am, please read the potential responses again, particularly the Neutral and Positive answers. My actual vote would be "Neutral" with regards to the grille, but then there's the accompanying portion about liking the car based on other attributes. So, essentially, I can't say that I'm neutral about the grille without saying that I like the car.
I would like an option that says I'm neutral on the grille and that is all it says.

Actually, I voted in order to see the results. I might not needed to have though.
Either way, it felt a bit fraudulent, since I've never seen the beast and cannot buy one anyway.
