lol, good point. And at least the NSX that I will be getting eventually will still be worth the money.

LOL. Sweet car indeed, but yowzers on the price.
I think for the enthusiasts, unless your content with a Civic your best bet is just going to be low mileage NSXs and S2000s. Heck, in a couple years, maybe they will start appreciating in price.

I can see that happening to NSXs, especially late model year ones (it's already going on now), but I don't really see that happening to S2000s any time soon, not even the near future.

Yes, but did you know the following:
1. The assembly of the car is entirely done by Spoon.
2. Honda provides the parts (minus Spoon specific components) and the painted bare chassis.
3. Spoon assembles all the components including all the interior trim, wire harness, and everything mechanical and electrical.
4. Warranty is 2 years on engine and Trani.
5. There is no warranty on any other part of the car.
$150K for a car with mimimal warranty and a vehicle largely assembly by Spoon without Honda's renowed Manufacturing processes.

Decent NSXs with under 100K miles have really never dipped below $25-28K. S2000s also seem to be developing a floor around $11-12K for non salvage examples with less than 90K miles. The current S2000 prices for the car you get is an astounding bargain IMO. My guess is, these price levels will pretty much stay more or less intact for the next few years. Time will tell.
