I get around 700km from the 42 litre tank, which is more than enough IMHO. And that is mixed driving, city plus short highway trips. And that is in the heavier City. The Old Jazz weighed less than the City.

Why carry more fuel (weight)? You can't keep driving thousands of miles without needing to take a pee.

Every stop to refuel your car takes precious minutes away from the rest of your life. Driving my Insight about 10,000 miles last year, I stopped for gas 17 times plus a couple of stops to pee. Only the pee stops made me happier.

I live in the US.

How big is the gas tank for the US version of the Fit in US Gallons (as opposed to Imperial gallons)?
