09 TXS ugly, 09 Euro Accord Sweet!!

Can someone tell me why the US gets the ugly step-sister (09 TSX) while across the pond they get the beautiful daughter (09 Euro Accord). And don't get me started on the US 09 accord.
Is it that the honda sales in Europe are better than US?
