Just out of curiosity, how much do the stock wheels/tires weigh on this car? They look like they might be rather heavy, and I was just wondering what kind of weight might be saved with a lighter set of wheels.

Thats the same concern i have. I can guarantee Lighter Wheels/Tires Combination will Decrease the loss of HP from Crank to Wheels.

That's what I suspected as well, but I was just wondering how much weight could be shed if you were to choose a lightweight wheel of equivalent size such as BBS. Some of Honda's larger OEM wheels are quite heavy.

If going from 17x7 to 17x7.5 adds 7-8 lb, I can only assume it going up substantially with 18x8. I'm wondering how TL-S's 17x8 would compare.

IF someone can weight Just the STOCK 18" Wheel off the Accord, I could pretty much estimate how much weight can be shaved off by replacing with aftermarket Light weight wheels. You cant put 17" wheels as that will void the warranty on the car (According to sales rep from Tire Rack)

I know ENKEI makes Racing Series Wheels. The RS+M series 18" weight Between 17~17.8 pounds.
