I was wondering if anyone knows any clubs or shops doing group buy or discounted pricing on the Hondata reflash for the 06 SI? I'm in the Columbus OH area.
Hmm, I could probably arrange something. Obviously, I can't advertise prices below list, but I can offer some discounts.
Current pricing is $595 (+tax if you're in California) and then return shipping depends on how fast you want it and where you are.
If we can get at least 10 people here on TOV, I can do a $50 discount. If we get 20, I can do $75. Because our shop is only a few miles from Hondata, we can take the ECUs over and get them flashed and back out the same day if they arrive in the morning. If we get them in the afternoon, they can be shipped out the next morning.
Anyone interested? If so, we'll set up some procedures and a list. Furthermore, we'll donate $10 to TOV from each reflash we sell.

I am interested in the Hondata group buy, buy maybe you can answer a question for me?
I currently have the standard re-flash with an Injen CAI, Hondata IMG & Greddy Evo2 exhaust. I am looking to purchase a set of the Crower Stage 2 Camshafts & Valvetrain (IPS is priced a bit too high for me) and an SSR or DC header. I know the standard re-flash is not designed to work with aftermarket camshafts, but will Hondata do a custom re-flash to compliment a customers specific modifications? I assume that I would need a similar program to what you guys have on the Project Si.

Provided we receive the ECU on a weekday, we will take it directly to Hondata and have it flashed the same day. It will either ship that afternoon (if Hondata can get it done quickly enough) or the next morning.
If you pay for the next day return shipping, you could have it back the 2 days after you sent it (best case), or 3 days after you sent it worst case.
Hondata is closed on the weekends, so ECUs arriving after 12pm on Friday would not be shipped till Monday.
hey Sean I'm probably in too. However I was thinking about doing something like Suprchrgd00 with the cams etc. So i'm still up in the air, but I'll definitly keep an eye on the thread.
Poljana, I was told by Doug at Hondata they they do not currently offer a re-flash for aftermarket cams and can't really say if they will. I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. The re-flash is certainly worth the cost and I would pull the trigger on a group buy if I were you. I am hoping that with the Buddy Club RH, cams will not be necessary (should know that in the next 3 weeks whenever it gets here!) The dyno graph on Hondatas web site is pretty impressive with just an intake & RH.
im interested, and would do it, but im thinking of supercharging later on. would the reflash be pointless then, or can i get away with it? i'd assume the tuning would be a little different.

that's pretty much what i am wondering as crsx also offers the reflash for 525 but customer pays for shipping both ways.
I'm sure you are thinking this has turned into a bigger PITA than you had imagined. As one of my profs was fond of saying, no good deed goes unpunished. :-)
I think if we can just get you to clarify what, if any, shipping cost(s) are included in the price quoted, everything else should go smoothly. Thanks for being so patient with us.
