Hi vtec'ers... I'm writing from Australia.
Just went down to my local Honda spare parts counter and asked for a set of factory spark plugs to suit my 99 vtir prelude. They have them in stock but they are $55.00 each....a bit expensive. I know that are a platimun plug but I can but Irridium's for less than that.

So now I'm after a bit of advice as to what you guys think is the best aftermarket spark plug?

I'm going to try some Denso Iridium plugs soon. However, for a basic plug, NGK V-Spec plugs are a nice copper piece.

Hi, The Denso Irridium's are standard equipment on the car over here. Is that not the case for the USA?

Hi from over the ditch in NZ. Try Champion RC8PYP4 plats. They're Heaps cheaper.

I recently did my service with Honda. They did not list checking spark plugs as an item of my service. Last week my mechanic/uncle had a look and

a) the air filter was not changed
b) the spark plugs were filthy and old
c) motor oil was blacker than usual

I own a 97 prelude vtir and live also in Australia. Anyone receive such service from Honda? TIA
