Not quite sure what you mean. The guys in the commercial are the target market for the car. Now, whether those are the types of people who actually purchase the RDX remains to be seen.

I don't know, Ryan..... They look like guys just out of college (if not IN college, which is even crazier). I don't know anybody out of college who can afford a $37K car.

IIRC, the target demo for the RDX is early 30s, male, urban worker/dweller. Seems spot-on in the commercial. Those guys are certainly older than college-age; I work around college-age people all day long.

I guess it depends upon circumstances and people shouldn't stereotype (particularly salespeople...). Not to toot my own horn but I came out of college with no debt and a pretty good job (over 6 figures after my first year). I could have easily afforded something like the RDX had I wanted to. Actually, I really wanted to buy something "special" and unique but at the time I was hung up on getting an Integra Type R and Acura kept delaying the thing for so long I gave up and held off until the S2000 came out. I had no interest in the TLs or RLs of the day.

Maybe spot-on in the commercial, but all I'm saying is Honda/Acura demographics for 'some' of the vehicles are way off. Perfect examples are the Element and Fit. I doubt I'll ever see a 30 something male in the driver's seat of one of these things. It will be an over 40 crowd, guaranteed!

if you've seen the commercials on CNBC in the mornings they are tailored more towards the working professional than this particular advertisment.

I just hope they continue to market to that segment for dealer's sake. I'm not saying that a 30 year old can't afford an RDX, but I am doubting many of them would actually buy one with all of the other 'more they're age' options out there.

Well, you are an exception then :) What did you major in? 6 figures in a year is very impressive!

Electrical engineering, but I hardly considered my situation a huge exception.
