Just recently I had an exhaust and header installed by my mechanic and he called me behind his garage and showed me a completely totaled (at least I thought it was) RSX-S. I was shocked. The story was that an 18 year old and his 20 year old buddy test drove an RSX and the dealer made the mistake of letting them go alone. Well these morons were travelling downhill and decided to test the slalom capabilities. Needless to say, it was a disaster and they rolled the car 8 Times (EIGHT TIMES!!). The front left wheel was bent under the car from the force but the main reason I'm wrinting this is to tell you that the 2 guys walked away with minor scratches (No Hospiital Trip at all). I got a close inspection of the car and the body held up amazingly well!! The passenger/driver compartments had NO intrusion and the roof remained solid. There was an deep indentation in the middle, the windshield was caved in but the 2 guys were perfect. I was simply amazed at how the car stood up to the abusive roll. My mechanics quote " Any car that flips eight g-damn times and you walk away from, I'd Buy it strait up!". I just wanted to write this because it makes me fell that much safer in an already amazingly designed car. Great Job Honda!!
Has any other person heard of or seen wrecked RSX's ?? How did they hold up? I wish I had a picture to show of the wreck, I'll have to see if the car is still there.

Hey guys, just to back up this story, I've posted some pics at club rsx.
Turns out the car was still behind the dealer's shop so I took Some Video footage and posted some still shots from the video.

I'm looking for a low mileage RSX-S motor. I figure it
would have to come out of a wreck like this.

Any ideas?

Kinda Risky man...I wouldn't recomend it.

What so you need the Type-S engine for? Putting it in A Base RSX?

Either way, there could be unseen engine damage, crack's etc...
Just too hard to be sure of the engine but good luck in the search anyway.
