So I come to a stop light next to a WRX. Light turns green, no one else around, we turn on the juice and I am ahead by a car length till 30, then his turbo kicks in and it its bye-bye to my SI - 2 car lengths before we shut down when we hit the speed limit (ok, a little over, but it came fast).

I knew I going in I would get spanked by a WRX, but what the hell, beats blending in with all of those gawd awful SUVs out there!

thats all driver... launching an awd vehicle is diffrent from fwd.

If you know how to launch right in an AWD you'll be able to launch on anyone. I know because my brother gave my friend 2 car lengths and passed him up by 1 car from just launching.
I miss that Evo.
