You're right. The Fit certainly has more room, and it is a lot more versatile. And with four-doors, it's more of a "mini minivan" than the EP3, a hatchback, ever was. The Fit's standard side airbags are also a real plus for safety. My only point was that the Sport model, particularly one with AT, becames a $17k-plus car. With sales tax & the usual fees -- absent a hefty discount -- you're well over $18k.
That said, I like the car. I particularly like the drawing of the next one. It's just that I don't think the Fit Sport is a bargain. EP3s, on the other hand, typically discounted at least $2k and often $3k, were. But, whatever a Fit Sport ultimately sells for, the two cars are really as different as chalk and cheese.
