Its seems Zaino is the best way to go with my new civic. Any one have experience with how many applications I will get out of this kit ?

I'm hopefully going to get to Zaino to my FBP Si this weekend.

Just mix 1 ounce in a bottle - you'll be able to get at least 3-4 coats. Remember that the Zaino mantra is "Thin coats!"

Be sure to add 4-5 drops of ZFX to whichever product you're using (Z5 or Z2Pro), shake for 60-90 seconds and then let it sit for 5 minutes. Shake again and then apply.

Dampen the applicator with one spritz of Z6 before you start applying. If you can see the Z, you're putting it on too thick. You should barely see the haze when it's dry. Wipe off, Z6 the finish and add another coat.

3 things to remember -
1. More coats means more shine.
2. Only 3 coats in a 24 hour period so it can properly cure (even when using ZFX)
3. Once mixed, it's only good for about 24 hours so don't mix more than you need - hence the 1 ounce suggestion above. However, refrigerating the unused portion has extended it (for me) for about 36 hours before I used it all.

Good advice Cory!

With one bottle of Z5 and one bottle of Z2 pro, I think you might be able to get up to 10 coats per bottle if you're careful about THIN coats.

By the way, I'd recommend picking up Z8 too. While Z6 is very good, Z8 is awesome. I use it every time after I wash my car, giving my paint finish that freshly waxed look and feel. The shine Z8 produces is stunning. The only drawback is that it's a bit pricey.
