I have 03 Si with 205/55/15 Federal SS535's and they SUCK! I replaced my stock tires at 38k and now have 53k. The tread wear and traction is worse than my original tires were at 38k! Can you recomend some tires and sizes that would be better for my car? Oh I almost forgot, these will be an everyday rim and tire setup. I will be on 17x7's from June till Sept( can you recomend a tire for summer for these also) Thanks for any feedback!-John

Are you looking more for all-season or summer only? Ultra high perf, max perf, or r-compound? I've an 04 RSX that uses a fairly similar 16 inch tire with a 205 width.

on my 15inch stockies i want all season and on my 17x7's i want performance. i will be on the stock rims and tires from oct-may and june -sept on 17's(i'm in seattle so i need allseason most of the year)

1) All-season 205/55-15 tire: Bridgestone Potenza G009

2) Summer 205/40-17 tire: Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval

Viva la EP

PS 205/40-17 is a shorter size for the EP. It adds fender gap unless you've slammed the car, 205/45-17 works better especially at stock ride height.

I also have an 03 SiR (Canada) that needed new tires and an 03 Accord that also needed new tires. Based on many tire reviews on the web (mostly Tire Rack) I decided on Potenza G009 for the Accord and Yokohama V4s (205/55 R15) for the Civic. I have dedicated snow tires for both vehicles - Nokian RSi - but I removed them two weeks ago as they were wearing out too fast. I wanted a good performance tire that was also able to handle a bit of late winter/early spring snow. I've only had them on both vehicles for two weeks now but they are miles ahead of the OEM tires (Michelin crapolas).
