After installing both the OEM wing spoiler (retrofitted) and OEM front lip spoiler on my '02 Suzuka, I've found that starting at around 65mph, the car feels more stable and planted to the ground. Is it just a placebo, or is this really happening?

Glass half empty... I'd be almost 100% sure that it's placebo.

i had two VTEC Preludes, same model... one with spoiler, one without... there was tons of difference under high speed acceleration, say ~80+mph. with the spoiler I could comfortably keep my foot on the throttle. without the spoiler things tended to get a little shakey after 100+, especially going down hill. she would get very light in the ass.
hell i could even tell the difference after I added the oem spoiler to my 93 accord. since your "wing" spoiler is higher than both of them, I would say there should be a noticeable change or settling feeling... hell it's not a ricer part, it was developed by big H.
Your 60 mph claim seems a bit agressive but then again, it's somewhere up there... I've also driven an 04 Berlina w/ full body kit up to 106mph but I was to focused on the 2.2L to think about drag...haha.

I havent tried it yet with my S2K, but on my hatch I put a small "duckbill type" on the back and a small Mugen style lip on the front. The back one wasn't kicked up very much but made a big difference over 80 miles and hour. The rear end and really the whole car would hold the road way more firmly than before the spoilers.
