I already posted this message in this forum, but got nothing technical whatsoever. So if you do NOT have any TECHNICAL opinion on the subject, please do NOT post a reply.
I need some advice on the following. I'm thinking of getting:
1. Skunk2 Stage 2 Cams
2. Skunk2 valve train
3. Skunk2 intake manifold
4. MSD ignition
5. 65mm Throttle body (which brand is best?)
What are your comments on the above, and what can I expect to gain (from each item / as a whole) from these mods? Anybody have experiences with any of these?
I currently have the following specs:
B16A2 Engine
DC Sport 4-into-1 exhaust manifold
60mm CatBack system
Cat Replacement
Cold Air Intake (so not a short ram!)
Lightened flywheel
(Educated) guesstimates are welcome, as long as you know what you're talking about ;-)

I posted my reply with the experiences I've had with my B16A2 in your original thread. I can honestly tell you between the ignition and the throttle body you'll notice a power increase. I don't have exact numbers because I didn't dyno the car after each mod - I've had no problems from the MSD ignition it was worked great, on the throttle body source I would stay away from the JG one, both my friend and I purchased ours at the same time for our Si's and we both had problems with the idle after the install (and it required extensive adjustments to the TPS and IAC). As far as your valve train - I've had a lot of people say the Skunk2 is good quality, but I opted for the CTR components and Crower valve springs and titanium retainers...I have yet to dyno the car to get true figures but I was able to lay down a 14.95 in the 1/4 mile and most of the other n/a Si's were between 16 and 17 sec's...but that's just my experience, hope it may help.

The Skunk2 cams and valvetrain will work fine for you. I tend to prefer Toda, but they are more expensive and any hp gains to be had will be small between the two brands.
If you're running a B16A, you might just want to purchase an ITR manifold. The Skunk2 is a good copy of that manifold and for a small displacement motor like the B16A, the ITR manifold is more than big enough. If you were going with bigger cams, then maybe a bigger manifold would be in order.
Personally, I wouldn't spend money on the MSD. I had one on my GS-R and it tended to burn out distributor parts. There was no power difference with it on or off. Even top all-motor racers like Erick Aguilar stick with the stock ignition system, so it seems to work pretty good NA.
On the TB, and brand will work o.k. The cheap route is to have RC bore yours out. Otherwise, a stock ITR TB would work too. I don't like some of the billet TB's because they're too stiff. I've been driving around with an ERE 68-66 on my S2000, and its a well made piece, but the spring is much stiffer than stock.
With those mods (plus some adjustable cam gears too), I think you could expect to see 15-20 hp on the top end. The intake manifold might cost you a little below 6k though.
To maximize the benefits of those modifications, I'd also recommend some engine management upgrades. At a very minimum, a VAFC. Next up would be a chip by a competent tuner, and if you have the dough, just go Hondata. I'd also think about increasing the compression and porting the head.
With your basic setup plus a Hondata and head porting, you could easily make enough power to push your car into the 13's on slicks.
