I see that the OEM Si spoiler is missing on the trunk... is there any plan to put on an aftermarket one??

Nevermind.... read the post again and realized that's a different trunk lid.... Jeff, I remembered in another post you stated the spoiler actually help keeping the car stable at high speed... was this swap for the SEMA only??

I'm lost...are those pre-install pics with a wing-shaved trunk? Or did you paint the carbon fiber to match the car? And do the Seibon items use releases similar to the factory trunk and hood release? One of the company's makes them like that so you don't have to use release pins but I'm not sure if it's Seibon I'm talking about.

Not sure about the Seibon latch points, but we removed the spoiler from the factory trunk lid just for grins, AFAIK. We have not painted the CF pieces. There are no pics (yet) of the CF pieces.

What does AFAIK mean? I've seen it a few times used as web-hand talk.

AFAIK = "as far as I know".

Man, I feel old. I didn't know either. And I'll ask another dumb question, is that a valve spring compressor on top of the head?

I believe Seibon asked that the hood and trunk lid remain unpainted to show off the CF. It should look a lot like the concept car.
I'm not keen on the trunk lid and Shawn said he had some fitment issues with that part. That and the silver plate garnish has to go back on!
I'm hoping the stock wing will return to give the rear the visual lift (or downforce!) that it needs. Shawn is concerned that the CF might splinter when the holes would be drilled.
We'll see today!

Oh ok, thanks you guys. Thought I was going nuts. lol Importtrenz.com makes a carbon version of the EX spoiler. A bit expensive but I just thought I should say that.

Hey thanks. I'm a young guy and I still get confused on some of the acronyms used on this site.
