I have been looking at the G-force tires on tirerack. I like the g-force KDW and KDW-2 best, for price and performance. I was wondering what is the best choice for my car with the stock 15" rims. I know they may not be quite the same size as original, but have replaced tires on other cars with different sizes with good results. I am really looking for a good summer tire with decent wet weather performance, as I live in NH. which is a better choice and in what size? what are the main differences? thanks for any input, as I hope to get these tires in the coming weeks. If its the OEM 15", you should have a 195/55-15 in which neither one of those tires are made. You would need to use a 205/50-15 to get the KDW-2, but the KDW isn't made in that size. The KDW2 is a great wet and dry performer, one of the top in its class. But it can be a noisy tire especially as it wears down.
You may also want to check out Bridgestone's RE750. Very similar performance but with better life and quieter ride.

what problems, if any, would arise from using the 205/50-15 with the KDW-2? what drawbacks are there? does the RE750 come in the standard size? what strengths does one have over the other, performance wise? thanks for all the input, helps a lot!

There shouldn't be any issues running that size on a 00 Si. Only drawback in going to a wider tire would be less wet/snow traction. It harder for a tire to evacuate material when its wider. However, your only increasing it 1/4" on either side so your really not gaining enough width to make a difference there.
The RE750 isn't made in the OEM size, but is in the larger 205. That tire will wear and ride quieter than the BFG. Personally I would rather see you use the RE750.
