I have a tire problem, as it appears....had the alignment checked and all was good, but get a pretty consistant pull to the right on pretty much any road, at different speeds, different grades, fllat or otherwise.. The tech thinks it could be a tire, or a couple of the tires.
Anyone have this issue?

I do in my 02 Civic.....
Honda checked the alignment 3 times. The tires are brand new, and the problem persists with both my summer and winter tires on different rims......
Tell me thats not frustrating.

Switch the right tires to the left side, and vice versa. If it changes the pull, you have identified the tire problem. Otherwise, check for a sticking brake, or alighment.

A number of hardware improvements were made to the Ridgeline to prevent drift/pulls issues. If you had the dealer confirm the alignment, (and their alignment rack was calibrated), it is likely there is another problem. The tire is a likely candidate.
Have the dealer try swapping tires and confirm the affect. If they have difficulty diagnosing the problem, have them contact the Honda Tech Line for additional assistance.

By the way, are you talking about the Ridgeline, or did your question get posted in the wrong place??? If you really are talking Ridgeline (just came onto the market), take it back and have them get it right. You should not care what the problem really is, only that they solve it.
If it is a different car, then do the right side tires to the left side, to detect if it's brakes or tires, or alighment.

True..... the good thing about having an 2005 is that you can take it right back and have the replace your tires.... they should do more than just blame something they can't fix.

Uh oh... The dreaded PTTR. This has been a problem with the CR-V since back in 1997 and still shows up today.
With the CR-V, it's been a very finicky issue. Sometimes adjustments to the alignment will correct it. Sometimes a tire rotation does the trick. There was once a TSB regarding suspension parts (I forget which ones). But the problem still shows up even with 2005 models.
Please keep us up to date on this one.
