I found a 2004 S2000 at Moses Honda(cool people - EXCELL certified/couple of Presidents Awards) in Huntington/Barboursville WV while getting an oil change...
It is the silverstone metallic and only has 12 miles on it.
They will sell it for invoice - $29,995!!!
I spoke with David Larch who is the sales manager. 304-948-3202

Why is it still around? It costs money to keep it on inventory, did they tell you?

A late delivery from the factory, sent to them just before the changed 2005 model came out. Just a guess.

S2000's are not big sellers, that the real reason its still around
the reason they are offering for invoice to any who comes by for an oil change is because the dealer is getting a big kickback from honda for this particular car, all manufacturers never want a car sitting on the lot for this long
So anyone who is thinking about it, go in and sit down and I garantee you'll get it for over $1000 off invoice, my first offer would be in the $24000 range, remember it hasnt sold for over a year, whos the more desperate 1 here?
never ever ever take a car salesman 1st 2nd or even 3rd offer
you might need to leave your number and leave once before you make a deal

$24,000 is a bit unrealistic even if it is a 2004.
Also there are no dealer marketing programs for 2004 S2000s, only the 2005 models. Frankly if you are looking to purchase an S2K, you can probably negotiate a lower price for a 2005 model because there is in fact dealer cash coming from Honda.

You can get an '05 for less than that.
