Have you noticed any noises eminating from either side when turning and hitting bumps in the road? Is your noise dampener on the spring coil coming off? There are a few of us(A-Spec SUS owners) that are having similar problems but I thought you might be able to give some insight.
Could the tie-rod end loosen and cause noise problems? I have retorqued it several times and I can't completely link the noise to the coil noise supression sleeve or the tie rod end. Heck it may be something completely different, but many of us are experiencing the same problems. I think most everyone is hereing the sound from the passenger side. Thanks for the help.

What type of noise are you hearing? I have a friggen' loud "POP" noise coming from the passenger side when I'm autocrossing every once in a while, but I can't find the source for the life of me. That noise was there on the stock suspension, though. I've re-torqued every single bolt on the entire front suspension, though. Aside from that nuisance that only happens with my uber-sticky race tires in competition mode, the thing is silent.
The rubber booties on the bottom of the springs do slip out a little. No noise, but when the car is jacked-up, I notice it and slide them back in. No biggie.
Anyway, curious to hear about your noise problems. Hope I can help.

I get the sound when hitting bumps in the road and turning at the same time(like hitting a slight pot hole on a corner). It really isn't a POP, per say. It sounds like a piece of wood ringing inside of a thick tin cup (kinda dull). You can here it as the suspension works over the bump; as the car is being loaded onto the right front. Also, this only happens at city speeds. I thought it was the spring noise dampener, at first but now I am being to think it is a combination of things(possibly tie-rod end nut loosening, since the nut is not secured via a castle design). Many others are experiencing the exact same thing. I haven't auto-crossed mine yet but a friend is getting POP under extreme manuevers as well. Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

Strange. I don't have any noise like that. If the tie rod end was torqued, there shouldn't be a problem there. The spec is 40 ft/lbs, IIRC. I did notice that the tie rod end loses most of its grease when it suddenly releases upon removal, so I repacked some grease in there using a grease gun with needle tip before re-installing. Not sure if that could be a cause.
My auto-x season starts again next month. If I hear any noises at that time, I'll probably post something in the forums here.

How much grease did your's have in it when you took it off? Mine had very little and none came out upon removal. Do you think grease will get rid of the noise? Or do you think the tie-rod end could possibly be damaged? I actually thought the boots would contain more grease when I installed the kit. But since the car was less than 6 months old; I thought it was normal. How much grease should they have? Any more ideas or suggestions.
Thanks for the help.
