Hello, I am hearing about how Maguires wax isn't the best, and I was just wondering if anyone could give my their opinion on their favorite wax.
My paint is starting to look rather dull, and was wondering which brand of wax and polisher etc. to pick up
Thanks

Zaino Brothers is my favorite. I first experienced it on a Porsche Boxter S, it looked so deep and wet. the paint looks almost 3D. Then I saw his neighbor's red Viper, and wow I had to have it. I know use it on my Prelude, 4Runner and Supra. www.zainostore.com

i haven't tried zaino yet. i recently bought klasse and love the results of that on my ruby red civic. i'm going to be using it on my nighthawk black accord when i pick it up in about a week and i'll let you know the results on it! klasse supposedly has similar results to zaino but with a little less work involved.
an acquaintence that heard i was buying a black car also suggested the turtle wax for black cars. apparently he swears by it. his truck does look really nice, but it doesn't have the smae depth to the shine that my red civic has. but for the price, the turtle wax seems to work really well.
ps-i also love the klasse interior stuff. it leaves everything looking clean but not shiny at all. you can also use it on the tires to get a nice clean look without the blinding shine. i've noticed my dash and all hasn't been attracting near as much dust since i applied the stuff also!

Meguiars NXT is the best wax I've ever used that didn't require you to mail-order to get it.Zaino is very good but expen$ive and in most cases you have to mail-order it from their web site
Normally I would wash the car with dawn, then clay the car then wash it again, then apply NXT.
I'm totally impressed with the results on my Berlina black S2000

i have gotten tired of waxing cars and having to do it every 3 months . i use a product called 5 star shine which is available on their web site 5starshine.com. i think its the best alternative to waxing and my neighbors waxed bmw m3 compared to my black 2004 tl has him now saying whats the stuff you use??????? highly recommend it.

Hey, I'm picking my nighthawk black accord up in a week too! Just a suggestion though...Depending on how long ago the new car was painted, they say it takes up to 4-6months for the new paint job on a car to fully cure so it's not recommended that it be waxed before then...I would say just keep it washed for a month or two to make sure you've given enough time.

Meguiars IMO is one of the best out there. Their new NXT Generation of products are by far the best I have ever seen. On my cars I use the NXT Car Wash, Tech Wax, and the Booster Tech Wax. I will never put any other product on my car besides Meguiars. The NXT products make the Gold Class look weak.
Zaino is another good product to try but is fairly expensive. Also give Eagle One's Nano Wax a try. It is just as good as NXT Tech Wax and a tad bit cheaper but not by much.
