Hey there,
I got yet another door ding on my '03 Honda. I bought one of those door ding kits and was able to restore the metal to pretty much the original look. Is there anything else I can do? Any suggestions? Each ding is the size of a dime. Thanks.

I've no solution for you, but wondering about the kit you used. Can you give me the brand? Tnx.

Wow .. that's pretty good!
I've always wondered if those ding kits really worked.
What brand do you have?
Is it the one that uses a suction cup method?

Speaking of dings, is there a good product that will get rid of scuff marks on the paint, as well? I hate when you park at the mall and some inconsiderate a@%hole doesn't have the respect to watch what they're doing while opening their doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is why I now park far far away from anybody.
I'm also wondering what product you used to get rid of the dents. I have dents on my 95 Integra GS-R, but more madening are the two ones on my 02 SiR h/b with scuffs on my black paint!!

I don't like parking my car at a parking lot either and if I have to, I stay as far away as possible: got all my door dings at a parking lot.
The product I used was "Ding King" which can be bought out here in Canada at your local Canadian Tire store. It basically comes with a clamp, 2 pulling pins, glue gun and 5 glue sticks ($30.00CDN).
I didn't actually use the clamp. After I glued the pin to the ding, I pulled it out by hand. It felt safer doing it this way. The clamp seemed to bend the surrounding metal too much.
mac_powah, I have black paint as well and the pin pulled off most of the scuff marks to boot.
However, keep this in mind, the kit will never restore the metal back to 100% - the metal is stamped and it would require body work to get to excellent condition.
Hope this helps.

I had a ding behind the door panel on my Accord Coupe and Honda removed it for $50 dollars.

Acura 2000 (brampton near toronto, ontario) does paintless dent removal for a good price. 20 bucks a ding after the first 70.
I've removed dents myself also using nothing but a screw driver from behind. it will never be perfect unless u get it done by the pros. Its not worth it however unless u got tons of them 6 dents were pulled for me for about 160 bucks all perfect condition afterwards no body work required......unless its on a curve like our 01+ civic front fender or on the side crease that runs from front to back.
