I've a 95 Integra RS (bought new) and has been problem free since day 1 and during the last 8.5 yrs or so the only out of pocket expenses was a thermostat replacement last month. The car has 68Kms, auto, still on original tires (50% left), original brakes 35% front and 45% rear. I am thinking to either trade in the car now or keep the car till......any feedback will be much appreciated. Ben

200K miles easy. My last car was '94 LS and I sold it at 177K miles with no engine problems (radiator was leaking a bit). The only thing (and by only I mean nothing else at all) that I did was oil changes, a lot of tires, aligtment, brakes, changed air filter twice and spark plugs once, timing belt at 100K and clutch. No tune ups of any kind. And I admit that I was pretty brutal to my Integra.
So I'd say keep it and enjoy a trouble free car. And trust me, you will get a really good money when you sell it even at 170K miles.

My brother bought a 1990 2dr manual when they first came out. I liked his so much that I bought a 2 dr manual 6 months later, also new. Well, 14 (fourteen) years later both are still doing exetremly well. His has 225,000 miles on it and has had a new clutch, radiator, and AC unit put on. Mine has 205,000 miles and now finally needs a clutch. I have charged my AC exactly one time and it still blows cold. Not much else to complain about - unlike my Cutlass, Delta 88, and old Chrysler New Yorker.
Other owners I talk too say pretty much the same, that this version Integra should do over 250,000 miles - I imagine that your third generation should do the same or even better.

I had a 87 integra with over 320 000 km (not miles). During the 320 000 km it was trouble free. Its an auto. At about 300 000 km the tranny started to slip a bit later I took it to the junk yard and they gave me 500 bucks. I was amazed how well it was running after 300 000 km.

Thanks TR, 90Integra and 98ek9. Well, what can I say, I am going to keep my Integra until.......who knows when. I've heard too many new car buyers these days complaining about rattles/noises (even new Acuras) , mine is still rattles free! and that's one of the reasons I don't feel like parting/trading in the car. Thanks again for sharing. Ben
