. . . great write up. its cool to see the toys we don't get.
why don't we get these here? one word: liability. another word: lawsuits. four more words: blood sucking insurance rates. $#*%!

I'm glad you enjoyed the article. It really was a treat to be able to drive those cars. I hope someday soon we'll be able to buy these cars in the US.
I'm going back to Japan next month. Hopefully I'll have more cool stuff to share with everybody.

I know there was a time and place separation, but can you give me a ballpark on the difference you feel between the RSX-R and the '04 S2K(obviously the US version)?
thanks,

oh, that's really tough. i was really thrown for a loop by the way that JDM s2000 felt. So i don't know if it was the particular track or if the suspension is that much different from ours. From the layout it didn't seem like anything that would trouble the S2000, but then again you rarely encounter perfectly unbanked roads with curves like that, at least ones where it's okay to go basically flat out.
What i can say is i do like the feel of the ITR's k20 a bit better than the F20. It just seems to want to rev so much more freely in the lower and mid rpm ranges, and it also seems a bit smoother, but that's possibly more related to the transverse orientation of the Integra's motor.
it's a great package and a real shame it's not available here. ultimately the S2000 might be a hair quicker, but the ITR's limits are probably more accessible to more drivers.
