'04 TL owners...

Did any of you go for the paint or interior protection? Do you think it is of any value or just the typical coating scam??

In the past, I have always treated these dealer offered coatings as a rip-off, but they seem to have a good sell.

I am picking up my car this afternoon, and am debating whether or not i should go for the protection or not.

I'm sure there are some strong opinions out there..let's hear them!

useless crap. Just detail you car yourslef and put protectants like lexol or Meguiars on the leather. I would meguiars on the entire car inside/outside.

The dealers version offers little protection, had it on teh accord and i must say that it was useless. So it is a bad idea to get this crap on you beautiful new car.

If your truely a lazy person who would not bother to maintain your car, inside or out get the treatment. But if you don`t mind doing it yourself every 2-6 months, go with Zaino. Fantastic!!

Well, I'm truly lazy, so maybe I should consider it.

The back seat is f'd up already from the kid. I've had the car for 1 damn day!

Lexol cleaner and conditioners are awesome on leather. once or twice a year i'll use the cleaner followed by the conditioner. once evry one to two months i'll just wipe down the leather with a damp cloth and then the conditioner. keeps the leather clean and soft.
