I've created this new forum on a trial basis. I think this will help track all the issues that people are seeing, and make it easier for others who experience these issues to share their stories. I've moved some existing threads over there to get it started. Older threads will be migrated over soon.
This main 2004 TL forum should now host all other discussions relevant to the '04 TL.

Thanks Jeff, that will fix some of the clutter and organize reliability issues in a better way. BTW, how's the wife TL doing?

Thanks, Jeff,
I think you have to work harder than ever to direct our threads into the right forum. I guess most of TL topics related to your new forum would still appear over here.

we don't have our tl-s any more. my wife took a liking to the Element earlier this year, and we got one. It actually made better sense for us than having two sporty sedans. She's a pharmacist and has to park in the store parking lot at work every day and she hated parking the TL-S there, just because people are careless with their doors, and let carts run away (we had one smash into our volvo). The Element is nice to have because it's really inexpensive and you don't really cringe when you park it places. plus, with 2 kids and a dog, the care-free interior is a nice thing to have too :)
we had zero mechanical issues with our TL.

Sorry, we renamed it "Repairs/Maintenance" so it wouldn't sound too negative. I'll edit my original post.
thanks
Jeff
