Hi there, I have a Q for all G5 manual owner out there. Have you experience difference in clutch engagment point once you have engaged in gear and push the clutch in for 2 minutes? Like when you waiting for a light to change, but put it in gear, with the clutch push-in way ahead of the time.
For me, the engagment point drops lower, and when releasing the clutch gripping characteristic is different than usual...it is some what reduced...feels like the clutch is being ease out really slowly, hence lots of clutch slippage. It will retrun to normal once the clutch is engaged. It will not happen when the gear change and clutching process is complete in a short time too.
This is quite strange to me, as my G3 Integra will not have the same thing happen. I am wondering if it has some thing to do with the higher clutch cramping force, which in terms means stronger clutch spring, and so when the clutch spin down and stop, then spring just push the clutch plate forward more, than when it is spinning...any comment guys?
