I have a 92 civic si with the 1.6 vtec sohc. All the usual bolt on engine mods, header, cold air intake, open exhaust, plus handling mods. The car has been well maintained, never raced untill I got ahold of it and hopped it up this spring. It has just over 150K miles on it can it still handle NOS? If so which kit? Or what should I do to get it ready for NOS? Thanks

Ready for NOS
never used a shot-ever, however from talking to a couple guys who run 75 shots in b16 powered civic i picked up a few things.
Its probly not really worth your time to go nitrous with your sohc. sohc does reach its limit alot quicker in terms of speed. If your planning on shooting, you wanna go fast, you wanna go fast in a civic? b16a power all the way. Then H/E/I and if at that point you still wanna shoot, pick up a Zex 75 shot. Take your head into a reputable engine shop, get it ported and polished. Slap it back together, get a compression check done, if everything still checks out to factory specs (disregarding power outputs of course) then hook up your system, Hide it good. and go Kill some Camaros.
