Most potential customers will prefer get 1000cc bike - not 1000cc 2000lb car!

2678 lbs MINI Cooper with 1.6L 163 hp /155 ft-lbs already on sale and 200hp version oh his way

Better Honda give us 2000lb CRX, make it 2seater - that's fine, just make sure it got at least 1.6L 160hp / 111 ft-lbs. (same engine can be found it 2601 lbs.

Well, it may be a joke .. but if they are capable of it, a 2000lbs car with 120 HP is a thousand times better than a 2600 lbs one with 160Hp.

First of all because of all the environmental issues. A 1.0L engine in a 2000lbs car would hardly pollute anything comparing with a normal car. Fuel efficency should be also very very good.

Second, when speaking about performance. Well, a 2000lbs car's dynamics would be much better than a hevier one if the chassis is well balanced, just because the inertial mass of the car would be so small compared to bigger cars. Handling should be something mervelous, as well as everything else.

And when coming to things you really like in the US, like the drag races. Well, a 1800lbs Lotus Elyse with a 115Hp engine already outpaces an 240Hp S2000 in such games ... So, don't be a fool .. If you want a MiniCooper you just have to buy one.

A 1.0L 120Hp sub 2000lbs car isn't a joke, it's just a dream that may not become reallity, and I just hope it will make it to where I live in 2006.

I'm an European driver and here some of the more exciting cars are light roadster like Lotus Elise (120hp) or her clone the GM/Opel Speedster. This one existing in a turbo version with 200HP, but it is not really better than the original version (140hp). The light weight of these cars make them so exciting to drive, and so performant too... I love S2000 and if Honda make a S1000 or S1200 it will be certainly a great success in Europe : little car, light weight, low emisson ... all we want here (and in japan too !)...

You're the one joking, squeezing 120 hp out of a 1liter engine is amazing, no joke....
