WEll me and a buddy put an aftermarket camshaft on his 94 civic EX, but we encounter a problem as we tried the car for a run, we didn't feel any power, the car was weaker tahn it was before, and also after two regular drives his car died , we encountered an engine failure, the camshaft says that it would work with stock engine, i don't know where the problem is because we cannot start the car anymore, we change spark plug and wires but nothing at all, it could not be the alternator nor distributor because the are all brand new. So the car won't start, if anyone knows what's wrong with it please let me know i will realy appreciate.

sounds like the cam wasn't installed right - i mean it could be something else but if it happened right after you put it in....
most likely the timing got messed up and that's why the car ran crappy then not at all. hopefully no valves are bent. if not, shouldn't be too difficult to fix.

yes but we retimed it too. We tried it but no power at all.

sounds like the timing belt might be off a tooth or two.
