I will never understand anyone who says it's not a good looking car.

RS7 is sex on wheels

Acura is missing cars that make journalists drool and leave them speechless.

Acura doesn't really need this type of application in its lineup, however I think (like Audi has done) Acura needs a more sophisticated and diverse lineup of drivetrain offerings and much better design execution. SH-AWD or eSH-AWD (higher end applications only) should be offered on all models as well as some features like pano roofs, full LED exterior lighting, power folding mirrors etc etc.

A stunning exterior would help too. More than folding mirrors, etc (which add cost, while a beautiful design does not, or should not).

I also would like to see Acura have it's own unique platforms.
Stop using the Honda chassis and introduce something new. in my opinion, people don't see Acura as a luxury brand because of this. Yes, materials and quality (sound deadening, ergonomics, etc.) may feel better, but you are essentially getting the same car as a Honda for more money.

However, I love the new MDX and RLX. So it's not exactly a bad thing, but like you said, they should (at the very least) start adding nice features like a pano roof.

Acura seems to be going back into the right direction for now though.

P.S. I have high hopes for the new TL/TLX!

The Japanese don't really do panoramic roofs, Infiniti has none, Lexus I believe offers it in the ES and GS, but you hardly see any on the road and Acura had the ZDX if you want to consider the roof panoramic. In Europe everything has a panoramic roof so its easy for the Germans to offer something that is considered common. I too would like to see Acura offer their own chasis atleast bring back RWD for the top sedan whatever you want to call it, I do not care much about the driving dynamics argument, but RWD will certainly help with their design language. They could go back to the longitude layout of the 90's but that would likely require a new chasis too.

The 2G Fit in Japan has a panoramic roof, not offered in the US.

Then again, sunroofs are a line option for just about any car in Japan (even if they come standard, or as a trim/package in the US).
