i have a 91 honda prelude si with engine mods etc.i have sent off the ecu to get it reprogramed to help out the fuel curve and to eliminate the revlimitor or extend it.but it is still their@7200 rpm.i know the revlimitor is the fuel cut off to act as a revlimitor.can i hot wire the existing fuel pump or hook up an external fuel pump to elininate the problem?

i really need your help with this!!!!!! thx.

No, you cant get around it without changing the software or firmware in the ECU itself. (or by going to a standalone)

There are no fuel/ ignition maps beyond the fuel cut rpm. The ECU doesnt cut fuel by disabling the pump, it just clamps the injector outputs.
