The problem was the bottom of the barrel interior and, of course, the even shittier tires that came on the lower models. Looking at pics of camouflaged exteriors cannot tell us if its really has been fixed or not. THe lipstick on the outside is fine and dandy, whats important is if they have fixed the glaring deficiencies inside which screamed RENTAL!

The interior was a mess for sure, but make no mistake, the exterior was a cheap step down from the last gen FOR SURE too...

There may of been some exterior problems. I personally had no problems with the exterior. To be quite honest when I'm driving I don't see the outside. The inside was in definite need, not only material wise but content wise. Honda really has been missing the boat about content in their cars. It's good to see things have been changing starting with the CRV. Now the Accord and hopefully the Civic refresh will fix this problem. I'm really thinking about buying a Civic within the next year to replace my aging 2003 accord.
