2014 Super Gt 500 rules states 2.0 L turbos only.

To race you must follow the rules.

So next next year will be last one for the HSV -10, and in 2014 will be racing the new NSX?

Or it could be that the car they will race will be the "mini" NSX we have heard so much about.

No the Beat was MR, the E07A sat behind the 2 seats. It wasn't all that fast, but the NA engine was outputting the same (at least on paper) power as the other manufacturer's turbo kei engines. Still would love to have one with a B series replacing the E07A. Backyard Special had one and seeing it out on Suzuka it looked to be quite the fun little beast.

Wouldn't it make more sense to sleevedown the current production based, turbo V6 used in LMP2? Or are they after synergies with the F1 regulations?

2014 SGT rules state must be a I4 and 2.0 litre

2014 F1 must be V6 only and 1.6 litre

A very inside story about the new 2014 SGT/DTM Racecar.

The 2014 chassis will be differ from present DTM chassis
Because the 2014 chassis is designed to be either FR or MR layout.At the moment only Honda can use the MR layout(NSX).
There is a picture of the tub in the story.

Shakedown will be in May or June 2013
but may not include the NSX
I think it will be there because the series needs performance info to bop the different layouts to make it fair.
