Huh? wimp... ;-)
We've been there. I wanted to eat sushi after that.
Just like the time my wife and I were looking at the huge tuna tank at the Monterey Bay Aquarium... almost on cue we looked at each other and we said, "Sashimi time"!
Or the time at the American Honda Christmas Party when they put the sushi bar right in front of the two story water display at the Long Beach Aquarium... I kept thinking of the "Chinese Fish Restaurant" where they keep the fish in tanks, you choose the one you want and they take it out with a net... only to reappear nicely fried with scallions, ginger root and soy sauce on a platter.
Or the time when we went to the Seattle Aquarium and later the Lake Union salmon ladder... and we stopped by Costco to buy lots of salmon to BBQ for dinner.
Aquariums make me HUNGRY...
They should have an oyster bar at the Aquariums.

Sharks are horrifying. I attribute it to how mortifying Jaws was when I was a kid, and you will never catch me with a toe in any body of water that contains those killing machines.
Funny thing is, I had no clue they had those huge sharks in there at all. It wasn't until I was standing in the hull of the sunken ship that I figured out what was moving in the shadows out in the tank.

What about suspension?
I can't imagine wanting different wheels than what the Sport has already. Certainly nothing larger.

I think of them more in terms of BBQ... Shark meat is very tasty.. rubbed with a mixture of olive oil, lemon, salt, pepper, tabasco... grilled over a hot BBQ, a bit of alioli on the side, some cold wine... Remember WE are the top of the food chain!
I lived in O'ahu when Jaws came out. Didn't go to the beach for a year after that... loved those pools then.
How could you NOT know they had sharks in there? That's what they advertise the most? You can see the sharks as you walk on down towards the tunnel.. you can see them on the pool from above.
You should see the Long Beach Aquarium.

The red lipstick looks bad on the Accord.
Also, I am sort of pissed/impressed with this:
Reason being, when I saw that chrome strip in person, the first thing I thought of was ordering this and covering it:

The thing that is so irritating about these cars is that for the money, you could do better.
Think about the supercharged ILX. You are going to spend the money for the ILX 6MT, and then have to spend another $5-7K to get the level of performance that this gets. And it will still be FWD, so it will be less enjoyable than something like a 328i or even a slightly used car like a CPO S4.
Honda won't give a nominally more expensive factory version with 20 more HP, but they will gladly let you pay $42K for a car that produces about equal WHP to Mazdaspeed 3.
Don't get me wrong, I have done a lot of aftermarket stuff to cars, but it is always easier to start with a better base.

I was being facetious because the person posting the links is notorious for telling "enthusiasts" that they don't need more power, quality or performance.
Still, it is distressing that for $38-40K you can have an ILX that pales in comparison to some options.

As you walk into the Mandalay's aquarium, you can look over the side and see the top of the shark tank, huh? It's pretty cool.
Little sharks you 'pet'.... LOL, yeah, I saw people do that at the Long Beach Aquarium. Nuts! Some of them could chew your finger tip.

Who said that the K24 is max out at 220-230 hp?

notyper wrote:
Straight from the guys at Honda, the K24Z cylinder head with its integrated exhaust manifold is a 230 hp restrictor plate. You can find about 30 hp max with that head before it just becomes too much of a restriction to obtain any more normally aspirated power. And, it overheats under racing conditions. That's why all the Grand Am, World Challenge and other race cars that come with the K24Z are allowed to replace the head with an older K24 TSX head.
By contrast, the older K20/K24 head will support over 300 hp naturally aspirated. It's one of the best cylinder heads ever put into production (behind perhaps only the F20C head). It's an example of one of the areas (cylinder head tech) where Honda was clearly the best in the world.
