Honda's conservative 9G exterior didn't surprise me (the Si exterior even looks somewhat handsome to me), but the interior (not even mentioning the materials) looked wonky. Air vents and the like going every which way.

I'd love to see some symmetry return to that ... and perhaps more of classic dash (ILX-ish). I wouldn't be sad to see the two-tier deleted.

I like the two tier dash, I hope it stays. The problem is with the whole center council and the rest of the dash.

You can see from the photo that the two tire remains - the concept is fine and liked by customers - just the execution is too cheapskate. Hopefully fixed. never thought much wrong with the styling and actually in canada anyway the feature count is fine too. Just needs better interior materials and a more upscale feel. and some dark cloth paallease!

I thought the symmetry looked a bit off in the photos but after actually sitting in the car, it didn't seem nearly as bad.

While I wouldn't be upset if they improved the interior styling, I would be happy if they only updated the materials.

I dont mind the two tier - and actually am starting to like the digital speedo. I would prefer a little less cartoon drama from the rest of the gauge cluster though. And the symmetry of the dash doesn't bother me as much as the plastic piece that covers the radio and extends around the gauge cluster to the left side vent. That is the cheapest looking plastic in the entire car. John Mendel probably picked it out himself to go with this suits.

Agreed. the dashboard is not a problem when sitting in the driver seat but the plastic is pretty bad.
